You Never Can Tell is a song in the main series of Just Dance, officially appearing for Just Dance 2016. It is by Chuck Berry, but it is covered by A. Caveman And The Backseats in the series.

Synopsis[]

You Never Can Tell was originally intended to be featured on Just Dance 2015 but was removed for unknown reasons. It was instead put in Just Dance 2016 with some minor modifications and is also featured in Just Dance Now and the Just Dance Unlimited service. While the dance did not originally have any ratings in the series, it was later marked with an Easy difficulty rating and a Low effort rating.

In Just Dance 2016, You Never Can Tell is featured under the "Lightning" Dance Quest in renditions that have Dance Quests.

Setting[]

The dance takes place in front of multiple colorful backdrops with depictions of cave society on them. Such examples include cave-people, woolly mammoths, and dinosaurs.

From the looks of the original icon, the dance was going to take place inside of a home with the head of a dinosaur as a decoration, a TV, and a fireplace. No further information has been found.

Trivia[]

  • You Never Can Tell is the first cover by A. Caveman And The Backseats in the series.
  • In Just Dance 2016, the Gold Move pictograms have an orange outline rather than a golden one.
  • In the album Just Dance (Original Creations and Covers from the Video Game), Bruce Springsteen was accidentally credited as the artist, this has been fixed.
  • P2's avatar in Just Dance 2016 has black hair, although P2's hair was changed to dark brown.
  • If You Never Can Tell had been featured in Just Dance 2015, the coaches would have been the seventh and eighth coaches to not have white skin, after Let It Go (Classic and Alternate), Get Low, Holding Out For A Hero, Bad Romance and Diamonds (Alternate).
  • Also, some files for the song can be found in the files of Just Dance 2015, and the album coach appears when downloading a DLC for the game, this means the song was actually going to appear in the game.

Appearances in other songs[]
