Synopsis

Watch Me (Whip/ Nae Nae) is a song in Just Dance 2017 and is also featured in Just Dance Now and the Just Dance Unlimited service. It has two dances associated with it: the Classic Version (comprised of a Quartet dance done by coaches from Istanbul, Copacabana, The Fox (What Does the Fox Say?) and Love Is All) and an alternate "Family Battle Version" (comprised of a Quartet dance done by two female coaches and two male coaches). While the dances did not originally have any ratings in the series, the Classic Version was later marked with an Easy difficulty rating and a Low effort rating while the Family Battle Version was later marked with an Easy difficulty rating and a Low effort rating.

In Just Dance 2017, Watch Me (Whip/ Nae Nae)'s Family Battle Version is locked. To unlock it for the Chinese variant as well as the Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, Wii U, and Xbox One renditions, a user has to purchase it with 2,000 Mojo Coins. To unlock it for the PlayStation 3, Wii and Xbox 360 renditions, a user has to continuously play the game until it shows up as the third alternate revealed. Watch Me (Whip/ Nae Nae)'s Classic Version is also featured under the "Mask" Dance Quest while Watch Me (Whip/ Nae Nae)'s Family Battle Version is featured under the "Family" Dance Quest in Just Dance 2017 variants/renditions that have Dance Quests.

Setting

The classic dance takes place in front of multiple colored backdrops. Words from the song appear on the backdrops, appearing in different sizes and fonts.

The Family Battle dance takes place in a furnished living room. The room appears cut, resulting in an abstract area, and the furniture changes colors multiples times throughout the performance.
