Synopsis[]
Scream & Shout is a song in Just Dance 2017 and is also featured in Just Dance Now and the Just Dance Unlimited service. It has two dances associated with it: the Classic Version (comprised of a Quartet dance done by two male coaches and two female coaches) and an alternate Extreme Version (comprised of a Solo dance done by a male coach). While the dances did not originally have any ratings in the series, the Classic Version was later marked with a Hard difficulty rating and a Moderate effort rating while the Extreme Version was later marked with an Extreme difficulty rating and an Intense effort rating.
In Just Dance 2017, Scream & Shout's Extreme Version is locked. To unlock it for the Chinese variant as well as the Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, Wii U, and Xbox One renditions, a user has to purchase it with 10,000 Mojo Coins. To unlock it for the PlayStation 3, Wii and Xbox 360 renditions, a user has to continuously play the game until it shows up as the fifteenth alternate revealed. Additionally, Scream & Shout has a mashup, though it is not included in the Chinese variant as well as the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 renditions and is locked by a 20 Mojo Coins price point in the Wii rendition. Scream & Shout's Extreme Version is also featured under the "High Energy" Dance Quest in Just Dance 2017 variants/renditions that have Dance Quests.
In the Just Dance Unlimited service, Scream & Shout is present in some of the games that support it. Specifically, it only appears under the service in Just Dance 2019 and Unlimited supported games after it.
Setting[]
The classic dance takes place on an environment with complex circles. Some of the circles include a gold center while others are void of anything. One of the types multiplies numerous times, resulting in giant arrays of circles.
The Extreme dance takes place on a set that displays designs. Most of them are in gold, but some appear in purple. At one point in the performance, a glowing version of the coach is displayed.
Mashup[]
The mashup for Scream & Shout has 11 coaches in it and a theme called "American dream": coaches in attire reminiscent to American culture. The name is based off of the term "American Dream" where people strive to become successful. Bold Gold Text indicates that a Gold Move occurs during that part of the mashup.
