Background
Beta
The background in the beta is turquoise with bones moving diagonally upwards from the sides of the screen.
Just Dance
The routine seems to be taking place in the sky. The sky is turquoise with two white clouds and two light blue ones. There are also bones at the top that are moving from the sides of the screen.
Just Dance Wii
The background in Just Dance Wii has seven clouds, which are all turquoise. The message "WHO LET THE DOGS OUT" is written on the wall in red text. It lights up when sung.
Just Dance 3/Greatest Hits (Wii)/Wii 2
In the Wii version of Just Dance 3 and Just Dance: Greatest Hits and Just Dance Wii 2, the background is similar to Just Dance Wii, but the bones from the Just Dance version are in the background again. However, they are more realistic and move in different directions. The clouds are also more animated. The message "WHO LET THE DOGS OUT" does not appear in the background anymore and is replaced with five black dog paws fading when sung. They light up when Woofy Lunatic puts his paws up. Whenever Woofy Lunatic put his hands to the sides, two light blue paws appear on the middle sides of the screen.
Just Dance 3 (Xbox 360)
On the Xbox 360 version of Just Dance 3, there is a void that is half turquoise and half dark blue. The paws no longer appear in the background and the clouds are more animated. The bones are less realistic and more of them appear. They are also dark blue and cyan. Whenever Woofy Lunatic puts his paws up, the bones become bigger.
Just Dance: Greatest Hits (Xbox 360)
On the Xbox 360 version of Just Dance: Greatest Hits, the background is similar to the Xbox 360 version of Just Dance 3, but with brighter colors and more realistic objects. The floor is split into three layers, one cyan, one dark blue, and one indigo. During the chorus, there are lines on the indigo layer that move to the volume of the song. There are also five white paws on the ground when Woofy Lunatic puts his paws up.
Post-Just Dance: Greatest Hits
In post-Just Dance: Greatest Hits, the background is based off of the Wii version. However, the background is curious blue and the background fades in and out using dog paws.

Trivia
General
- The Amazon page for Just Dance adds a question mark at the end of the title.
- Among all that games that feature Who Let the Dogs Out?, only the Wii version of Just Dance 3 has the question mark at the end of the title, and the two elements are incorrectly separated by a blank space.
- In the Xbox 360 version of Just Dance 3, the article in the song title is capitalised, as opposed to every other game.
- Throughout every game the song is featured in, there are a few changes in the lyrics.
- In all the games, the first letter of some words are capitalized for an unknown reason.
- In every game after Just Dance, the lines "Infested mongrel", "It’s part of the Party", and "Oh doggy hold it" have an exclamation point at the end of the line.
- In pre-Just Dance 4 games, the first time "A doggy is nuttin’" is sung, the lyric appears as "Say a doggy is nuttin'".
- In every game after Just Dance, the first time "Oh doggy hold ya’ bone" is sung, there is no space between the words "ya’" and "bone", making the line read "Oh doggy hold ya'bone".
- In a few lyrics for Who Let the Dogs Out? in Just Dance 3 and Just Dance: Greatest Hits, there is a full stop at the end of the lines, making them read "Who let the dogs out.". This only happens during the second, third, and fourth times in which the lyrics are sung. In the other times when it is sung, it says “Who let the dogs out” without the full stop.
- This only happens on the Wii version of both games.
- In pre-Just Dance 4 games, a few lyrics read "I tell the fellas"/"Start the name callin’". In Just Dance 4 and onwards, this line is written as "Until the fellas"/"Start the name callin'".
- The Just Dance version has a lyric that reads "Walkin’ Through the place that/Digi-Man is breakin’ it down?". In pre-Just Dance 4 games, the question mark is gone, and there is no space between "breakin’" and "it", making the lyric read as "Walkin’ Through the place/That Digi-Man is breakin’ it down". In Just Dance 4 and onwards, the word "That" is gone, so the lyric reads "Walkin’ Through the place/Digi-Man is breakin’ it down".
Routine
- Who Let the Dogs Out? is the first song to feature a coach in a costume.
- The dancer’s head is visible in the mouth of the dog mask.
- In Just Dance, the coach’s costume was white, but it was changed into a yellow tone. Later remakes are based on this Beta element.
- This is the first routine in the series to utilize a formerly unused element in its remake.
- The short gameplay for this routine was the first Just Dance gameplay video to be uploaded on the American Just Dance YouTube channel.
- This is the second coach with yellow skin in the series, after Hot N Cold (Chick Version).
- At the beginning of the routine in Just Dance 3 and Just Dance: Greatest Hits, some quiet barking noises and a police siren can be heard.
- There is an avatar of the dancer available in Just Dance 2014. Along with Pound The Alarm (Mashup), it is unlockable only in July.
- The avatar is also available on Just Dance 2015, but only if you have saved data from the previous games.
- In the remake, the Gold Move pictogram is reversed.
- Acceptable in the 80s and Who Let The Dogs Out? are the only songs where they appear on post-Just Dance 3 Mashup menu squares.
