Dancing Queen is a song in the main series of Just Dance, officially appearing for the Just Dance Unlimited service. It is by ABBA.
Appearance of the Dancers[]
The routine is performed by three women dressed as princesses.
P1[]
P1 has a mint-turquoise hair tied in a segment ponytail, is in a single-sleeved pink top with fuchsia frills. She also wears a purple wristband on her left wrist. Purple ribbon bows are also seen on the frills, and a pair of long peachy jeans.
Her hair turns pink during the chorus, her shirt turns cyan, and her jeans turn magenta.
P2[]
P2 has pink, poofy hair tied up by a bunch of purple ribbons. She also wears a sleeveless peachy gown with a pink tutu, as well as a long purple flowing semi-transparent dress.
Her dress turns blue during the chorus, and her top turns to a light shade of purple, while her tutu turns cyan.
P3[]
P3 has a similar hair concept when compared with P1. She has her hair in a braid with a blue streak. She is wearing a similar top, but without frills. Instead, she wears a large purple bow which looks like a belt around her waist. She also wears a flowing peachy dress with purple bows, and a pink ribbon tied up as a carnation band around her left wrist.
Her hair also turns pink during the chorus, and her top also turns cyan. Her gown turns to a shade of wine-pink, and her bow-belt turns into a dark shade of pink.
Synopsis[]
Dancing Queen is a song in the Just Dance Unlimited service and is also featured in Just Dance Now. It has two dances associated with it: the Classic Version (comprised of a Trio dance done by three female coaches) and an alternate dance from "ABBA: You Can Dance", a sub-series game of Just Dance[1] (comprised of a Solo dance done by a female coach). In the series, the Classic Version is marked with a Medium difficulty rating and a Low effort rating while the dance from ABBA: You Can Dance is marked with a Medium difficulty rating and a Low effort rating.
Setting[]
The Classic dance takes place on a layer of clouds that moves up and down different stratospheres of the sky. Accompanied by the coaches are a closet, a cushioned seat, and a vanity mirror. The clouds are speckled with orbs, and the orbs turn into disco balls whenever the setting moves up. Spotlights would also appear during those phases, shining on the coaches as they performed. The clouds, objects and coaches sparkle multiple times during the performance.
The dance from ABBA: You Can Dance takes place on a set with cubes on it. Most of the cubes and the backdrop of the set display the music video during the performance, although the cubes do not feature it all the time. When not showing it, it will display red and white rings.
Production[]
The song was mentioned by Ubisoft as one of the songs in Just Dance 2015, suggesting the song was going to be part of the main tracklist of Just Dance 2015, but was ultimately scrapped for unknown reasons.
